Who we are
Falls and Beyond ("we", "us") operates a booking enquiry platform for Victoria Falls tourism activities, tours, transfers and accommodation, connecting travellers with independent local operators. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you submit a booking request or a contact/change/cancellation request, we collect your name, email address, phone and/or WhatsApp number, travel dates, guest numbers, and any notes or special requirements you provide. We collect only what's needed to arrange and manage that booking — we don't ask for anything else, and we don't require you to create an account.
We also automatically log standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting purposes, in line with normal web server operation.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your booking, and share the relevant details with the local operator so they can fulfil it;
- Contact you about your booking — confirmation, changes, reminders, or issues;
- Respond to enquiries, change requests and cancellation requests you send us;
- Keep basic records for accounting, commission tracking and legal compliance.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with anyone other than the operator(s) involved in your specific booking, unless required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and customer records for as long as needed to deliver the booking, handle any follow-up (disputes, refunds, legal claims) and meet our accounting and tax obligations, after which we delete or anonymise it unless we're required to keep it longer by law.
Payment data
We never store card numbers, CVVs or other sensitive payment credentials. Online payments, once available, will be handled entirely by a third-party payment provider that we do not control and that has its own privacy policy.
Cookies and similar technology
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in (for staff) and to remember your own booking reference so you can view it after submitting a request. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to: tell you what personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information (subject to our legal and accounting obligations); or provide you with a copy of it. To do any of this, contact us at [email protected].
Children's privacy
Our booking form isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the ages/numbers of children travelling on a family booking, provided by an adult making that booking.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
